enry Stevens, President of Stevens Technical Services, came from an engineering background into the flour milling industry. After 10 years in the wheat flour milling industry, he became an instructor in milling technology at the International Grains Program of Kansas State University. then as Director of Technical Services, stationed in Portland, Oregon, USA. Stevens formed Stevens Technical Services in July 2003, almost exactly 30 years after entering the grain milling industry.

Besides his work as an operating flour miller, Stevens has provided technical assistance to hundreds of flour mills, on site, in over 50 countries of the world. He has published articles in numerous trade journals and is an active member of the International Association of Operative Millers. In May 2000, that organization presented Stevens with its Special Award for Advancement of Milling Technology.
